In 2023, the Kancil Project began as a specifically project around exploring Knowledge Management and how much of the tools can now be done with open-source software, rather then relying on Google, Microsoft, and the other Big Tech players.

Through that process, I discovered amazing Google Workspaces replacement tools like NextCloud to document management sytems like Paperless and Notion alternatives. And no-code tools that help automize workflows, like n8n, an open-source alternative to Zapier. 

I also created interesting (but not 100% open source) workflows like automatically downloading videos in Ararbic, transcribing and translating them, and then summerizing them in English.
